Your Stories: A call for submissions

I would like to take a moment to ask you nurses out there to submit your stories of broken systems, occurrences where you have had to navigate or forgo the system to help a patient, and stories of you working to change the broken system. I would like to move the blog into a direction of nurse solution and empowerment. You may submit Blog entries via e-mail to tschmitt2002(at)gmail.com. Entries must be no longer than 1000 words in length, utilize proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and hold contact information for the author. The author will get full recognition for the post. I believe that the system can be fixed if it is handled correctly and that nursing will lead the way.
